The Challenge
An assessment performed by external auditors uncovered several material weakness within our Client’s business, resulting in an immediate need to review and remodel their current governance policies, procedures, systems and tools in order to address and remediate the identified weaknesses.
Our Solution
We assisted our Client with their deployment of SAP Governance Risk and Compliance module (GRC). While our primary role was project lead and oversight, we worked with our Client and partner firm to design, build, and deploy SAP GRC module. We managed the progress of the implementation and ensured the work produced aligned with the requirements of the business which are to resolve the material weaknesses identified by an external auditor. Within our project lead role, we served as both functional and technical subject matter experts as well as a Trusted Advisor on behalf of the Client.
The Sustained Result
Through our expertise, we identified and closed potential schedule, resourcing, and activity gaps, provided guidance on best practices to resolve the material weaknesses, and worked to ensure clear communication between IT and the business regarding the changes to come. We served as a bridge between our Client and partner firm as we managed the project teams and assisted with documentation required for a successful deployment.
